TimeCamp
TimeCamp suits freelancers and small teams that want a free plan without a user cap and a cheap paid plan with invoicing. It records window titles and websites for timesheets, supports SAML single sign-on and holds ISO 27001. The catch: approvals and SSO need the $9.99 Ultimate plan, and the Free plan exports reports only as PDF.
Hubstaff
Hubstaff suits small teams that want hours tracked on Windows, macOS, Linux and phones, then billed through invoices built from that time. Prices start at $4.99 per seat a month on annual billing, and idle time, offline tracking and two-factor sign-in are documented. The catch: single sign-on is only on Enterprise, the free plan has one seat, and timesheet approvals need the Team plan.
Both products are scored by the same rules: how we score time tracking tools.
