# Dropbox Sign

E-signature service from Dropbox, formerly HelloSign, with unlimited signature requests on paid plans.

85 points out of 100. #3 of 9 e-signature services. Vendor: Dropbox, Inc.. Website: https://sign.dropbox.com/

- Essentials, for one person, lists $15 a month, or $180 billed yearly [1].
- Paid plans list unlimited signature requests; a free package allows up to three a month [1][3].
- Standard for small teams lists $25 per user a month and needs 2 or more users [1].
- The pricing page says Dropbox Sign is compliant with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and the Trust Center lists both [1][5].
- In April 2024 Dropbox found unauthorised access to the Dropbox Sign production environment, per its own notice [8].

Verdict: Dropbox Sign suits individuals and small teams who want unlimited signature requests from $15 a month, with links to Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Zapier [1][2][11]. It sells qualified electronic signatures as an extra-cost option [3]. The catch: bulk send starts at Standard, and Dropbox disclosed unauthorised access to the Sign production environment in 2024 [1][8]. Best for: Individuals and small teams who want unlimited sending and a Dropbox link.
